Payment Service Providers (PSPs), such as SECPay or WorldPay, provide a test mode so that test transactions can be completed to ensure that orders are being processed correctly.
OmCore's basket module has a 'test mode' which integrates with each PSP's test mode, allowing test transactions to be completed using the shopping basket.
Switching on test mode
- Go to eCommerce / Merchant details
The existing merchant details record will be listed - Double click the merchant details record
The edit form will appear - Go to the 'Payment gateway' tab
- Select the 'Test mode' checkbox
- Save the form
Completing test transactions with SECPay
To complete a test transaction with SECPay, when Test mode is active, you must use the following dummy account details:
- Card type: Visa
- Card number: 4444 3333 2222 1111
Please note: SECPay will still allow genuine transactions to still be completed while in test mode.
