- This page will guide you through the steps in adding content to the pages of your website.

Adding content
- In the main navigation go to: Website / Site tree.
- Click on the Add content icon in the site tree toolbar.
- A blank content form will appear on the right.
Completing the content form
What is a content type?
Content types are used to present specific types of content on your website, such as text, buttons, news articles etc.
Each of OmCore's modules have different content types for their specific content requirements.
- The Title field
- Enter a descriptive name for your content, i.e. "Main body", to represent it within the site tree.
- The Content type field
- From the select menu select the "Site manager" option.
- A select menu will appear containing the site manager's content types.
- From the site manager's content types select menu select the "Text editor" option.
- Click the Save button at the foot of the form to create the new content.
- The new content will appear in the site tree.
- The content form will now update to present form fields specific to the content type that's just been inserted.
- For the text editor content type a rich text editor is displayed.
- Add some text to the rich text editor. For more information on using the text editor see: The rich text editor.
- Now click the Save button to save your changes.
Publishing content
- New content by default is unpublished.
- Unpublished content is symbolised in the site tree with the following icon.
- Unpublished content does not appear on your website.
- Content is unpublished by default to allow you to populate it before publishing it to your site.
- To publish your content, use the "Published" option to the right of the content form, at the top of the Info panel.
- Select the Published option's "Yes" radio button and save your content.
- The content is now published and will be displayed on the front end of your website.
- Published content is symbolised in the site tree by the following icon
