The info panel

1. When editing a module's item an info panel is always displayed to the right of the form fields.
2. The info panel contains generic options and information related to the publication of items.
3. Not all options are available to all users and those displayed are dependant on each modules settings and the current user's access privileges.

The Info panel options

Published option

1. The published option controls whether an item is displayed on your website or not.
2. Unpublished items will not appear on your website.
3. Published options will appear on your website depending on the set up of the Valid to/from options (see below).
4. By default content is not published.
5. The items for modules which have the published option disabled will always be published.

Display order

1. Some modules allow their items to be ordered numerically.
2. The display order may affect the order that the items are presented on the web site's front end.
3. Items with lower display orders are generally listed first. For example, an item with display order of 1 will appear listed before, or higher on the page than, an item with display order of 2.

Valid from

1. The Valid from option allows you to schedule a future date and time for the publication of items on your website.
2. Some modules do not have the valid from option enabled.
3. Items with a valid from date in the future are deemed as pending.
4. Pending items will not appear on your website until the valid from date has elapsed.

Valid to

1. The Valid to option allows you to schedule a future date and time to stop the publication of items on your website.
2. Once the Valid to date has elapsed an item is deemed expired.
3. Expired items will not appear on your website.

THE NEVER EXPIRES OPTION

1. The Never expires option overrides the Valid to date to prevent items from expiring once the Valid to date elapses.
2. This option is selected by default to prevent items from expiring unless specifically set to do so.
3. For items to expire once their valid to date has elapsed this option must be unselected.]

Created

1. Displays the date and time that the item was created, and the name of the user who created it.

Last modified

1. Displays the date and time that the item was last updated, and the name of the user who updated it.
