This backup is a complete snaphot of the entire server.

What is this backup for?

The purpose of this backup is so that in the instance that the server must be rebuilt the data can be replaced quickly and directly from this backup to ensure minimum website downtime. By retaining a daily, weekly, and monthly backup, we can ensure that if any data or files are lost we have a number backups from which we can recover the data.

Off site backups

What is backed up?

This backup consists of a incremental backup of the entire server which gets securely transferred to a datacentre in New York once a day. These offsite backups ensure that your website data will be recoverable even in the case of a complete data destruction at our London datacentre.

How often is it backed up?

Daily

What is this backup for?

This backup is used when the daily snapshot backups are unavailable. Due to the incremental way the files are backed up its also possible to recover individual files for historical purposes.
