Domain pointing

Using your own domain name for your website

To use your own domain name you need to update its DNS so that both its '@' and 'www' A-record points to our web server's IP address (37.188.111.115)

This can normally be done by logging into your domain registrar's control panel and changing the DNS settings.

Do not alter your nameservers. This could result in downtime for your website and lost emails.

How long does it take?

DNS changes may take up to 72 hours to propogate across the internet, however it usually completes within 8-24 hours. Once the domain is pointing at our server we can put your site live.

Need more help?

The steps to changing A records are dependant on your domain registrar's control panel. To help you through the process here are some links to the support pages of some of the most popular.
